And his justice prevailed, until he ordered a crier to announce and say: "Who has a need for money?" And no one from the people would stand up except one man, who would say: "Go to the treasurer" - meaning the treasurer - "and tell him that the Mahdi orders you to give me money." He would say to him: "Take it, until he takes it and brings it out, he would regret it and say: 'Was I greedier than the nation of Muhammad, or was what sufficed them insufficient for me?'" He said: "So he would return it and it would not be accepted from him, and it would be said to him: 'We do not take back anything we have given.' And it would be like that for seven years, or eight years, or nine years, then 'There is no good in living after him': or he said, 'Then there is no good in life after him.'"

4. From Ali, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God's prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said: "The Mahdi is from us, the People of the House, God will set him right in one night."

5. From Umm Salama, may God be pleased with her, she said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God's prayers and peace be upon him and his family, say: "The Mahdi is from my descendants, from the offspring of Fatima."

From Jabir, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God's prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said: "Jesus, son of Mary, will descend, and their leader, the Mahdi, will say: 'Come, lead us in prayer.' He will say: 'No, for some of them are princes over others; this is an honor from God to this nation.'"

7. From Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God's prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said: "He is from us, behind whom Jesus, son of Mary, will pray."

From Ibn Mas'ud, may God be pleased with him, from the Prophet, may God's prayers and peace be upon him and his family: that he said: "If there remained of the world but one day" - meaning of the days of God, the Almighty, referred to by His saying: "And a day with your Lord is like a thousand years" - 7 -
