A notice. Until a third is killed and a third dies, from Ali, may God be pleased with him, he says: "The Mahdi will not emerge until a third is killed and a third dies, and a third remains. And the world will be in chaos and turmoil, and seditions will appear. And some will raid others, so the elder will not have mercy on the young, and the young will not respect the elder." "O Fatima, by Him who sent me with truth, if the world becomes chaotic and turmoil, and seditions appear, and the roads are cut off, and some raid others, so the elder will not have mercy on the young, and the young will not respect the elder, then God Almighty will send from them one who will conquer the fortresses of misguidance and sealed hearts. He will establish the religion in the end of time, as I established it in the beginning of time, and fill the world with justice, as it was filled with injustice." And the roads mean the paths. And from Abdullah bin Masoud, may God be pleased with him, he said: "When trade routes are cut off, and seditions increase, and seven scholars emerge from different horizons without prior appointment, and each man is pledged allegiance by three hundred and some ten men, until they gather in Mecca, and some say to each other: What brought you here? They say: We came in search of this man through whom these seditions should be calmed, and Constantinople should be conquered... We know him by his name, his father's name, his mother's name, and his description." And the sellers of religion will appear for a worldly gain, and they are like those who rush towards democracy now and socialism in the past, and others. He said, peace be upon him and his family: "After me, there will be seditions, including the sedition of the carpets, in which there will be war and flight, then after it, seditions more severe than it, then a sedition will occur. Whenever it is said that it has ended, it will continue until no house remains without it entering, and no Muslim remains without it striking him, until a man emerges from my progeny." - 38 -
