A notice.

The appearance of the Mahdi means, "until some of you disown each other, and some of you bear witness against each other, and some of you curse each other." So I said: What good is there in that time? He said, may God be pleased with him: All good is in that time, the Mahdi will emerge and remove that.

And in another narration: "Some of you will spit in each other's faces, and some of you will bear witness against each other of disbelief." And there will be a cutting sword among the Arabs. Muhammad bin Ali, may God be pleased with them both, said: "The Qaim will not rise except in extreme fear, and tribulation and affliction that befalls people, and a plague before that, then a cutting sword among the Arabs, and disagreement among people, and dispersion in their religion, and change in their condition. Until the one who wishes will wish for death morning and evening, because of the greatness of what he sees of the ferocity of people and them eating each other, and disagreement in every land."

And from Jabir bin Yazid al-Ju'fi, he said: Abu Ja'far, may God be pleased with him, said: "O Jabir, stay on the ground and do not move a hand or a foot, until you see signs that I will mention to you. If you witness them, and it is mentioned... then that year, O Jabir, there will be much disagreement in every land." And the narration: "Then that year, O Jabir, there will be much disagreement in every land from the west, and severe affliction from their rulers, the like of which has never been heard of, and the vast earth will be constricted upon them, and they will curse each other and disown each other."

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: "Severe affliction will befall people until a man finds no refuge, so God will send a man from my progeny, my household, who will fill the earth with equity and justice, as it was filled with injustice and oppression." And wars will increase on earth, and the world will become chaotic. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: "The Hour will not come until the land of the Arabs returns to being meadows and rivers, and until a rider travels between Iraq and Mecca, fearing only the wrong path, and until chaos increases." They said: "And what is chaos, O Messenger of God?" He said: "Killing." And it does not emerge.
