A Note: Who is Al-Imam Al-Mahdi? He said: With tranquility and dignity. I said: And by what? He said: By knowing what is lawful and what is unlawful, and by the people's need for him, and that he does not need anyone, and is severe with the officials, and merciful to the poor.

And from Tawus, he said: (A sign of the Mahdi is that he is severe with the officials, generous with wealth, and merciful to the poor). From Ali, may God be pleased with him, he said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, say: (The Mahdi is from my household, generous with wealth, merciful to the poor), as if he were licking the poor with butter.

And from Abu Ru'bah, he said: (The Mahdi is as if he were licking the poor with butter, striking people until he returns them to the truth). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: (The Hour will not come until a man from my household comes out to them, and strikes them until they return to the truth).

A stubborn young man who extracts the truth even if it is under the molars.

From Ja'far bin Sayyar Al-Shami, he said: (The Mahdi's recovery of injustices reaches the point that if something is under a person's molar, he will extract it until he returns it).

He acts according to the Sunnah and fights for it. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: (A man from my household will come out, acting according to my Sunnah).

He establishes the Sunnah and abolishes innovations. From Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, he said: (He will not leave an innovation except that he abolishes it, and he will not leave a Sunnah except that he establishes it). He fears authority in evil, and he weeps and his sides tremble for fear of sedition, and he is forced to pledge allegiance.

From Al-Zuhri, he said: (... Then they turn to their master and find him with his back against the Kaaba, his sides trembling, seeking refuge in God from the evil they call him to, so they force him to pledge allegiance).

He dislikes the shedding of blood unjustly, and he dislikes the breaking of covenants. He divides wealth equally, and he scatters wealth generously and does not count it.
