The army will be swallowed up in the desert. An army will be sent to him from the direction of Sham, and God will swallow up that army in a desert. Al-Baidā' is the desert. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: A refuge will seek refuge in the House, and an army will be sent to him. When they are in a desert of the earth, they will be swallowed up. The narrations indicate that it is the desert of Medina, which is a place located after Dhul-Hulayfah, known as Abyar Ali. In the hadith of Abdul Aziz bin Rufay', he said: Umm Salamah said: I met Abu Ja'far and said: It is in a desert of the earth. Abu Ja'far said: No, by God, it is a desert.
