Its writing is in units of time, specifically: a time, and nine times, and half a time; i.e. (30 + 9 × 30) + (30 ÷ 2).
Part Three: This is a vision Daniel saw in a dream of a ram with two horns, one higher than the other, and a he-goat with a great horn. This fight ended with the he-goat's victory over the ram. After that, the great horn of the he-goat was broken and replaced by four small horns.
This ram is the Persian kingdom; the he-goat is the Greek kingdom; and the great horn is its ruler, Alexander (323 BC). The four small horns are the four generals who divided the Greek kingdom and became its rulers after the breaking of the great horn, i.e., after Alexander's death. Then, another horn emerged from one of these four horns, and its corruption grew until it reached the point of defiling the Al-Aqsa Mosque for a period of 2300 days (6.29 solar years). This horn is one of the rulers of the Greek kingdom, and his name was Antiochus Epiphanes (164 BC). The king said to Daniel: "O Daniel, understand the vision. And when the vision is told, it shall be true. But shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days. And I, Daniel, fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but no man understood it." (Daniel 8:26-27).
Part Four: This part explains the prophecy of the seventy weeks, which was decreed upon the Jewish people. The king said to Daniel: "Come, Daniel, for the words are closed and sealed until the time of the end."
