By using Jerusalem as the spatial axis around which Daniel's visions revolve, we can easily identify the divine kingdom mentioned by Daniel as the kingdom of the Muslims, founded by the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. This is because Jerusalem has been contested for its sovereignty from the time of the Babylonian king's visions until its conquest by the Muslims. All these four pagan kingdoms mentioned have not had another great kingdom established there after the Muslim kingdom's control over it.

The second part consists of four beasts that Daniel saw in his dream fighting each other in chronological order. The first was a lion that came to him with wings, and it fought the lion until it destroyed it. Then came a bear that fought the lion until it destroyed it. Then came a leopard, a fourth terrifying beast with frightening descriptions, and it fought the leopard until it destroyed it. Daniel said: "I was watching until thrones were put in place, and an ancient one sat down. His clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head was like pure wool. His throne was fiery flames, and its wheels were burning fire. A river of fire was flowing and coming out before him. Thousands of thousands served him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was seated, and the books were opened. I was watching then because of the sound of the arrogant words that the horn was speaking. I watched until the beast was killed, and its body destroyed and given to the burning fire. As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. I was watching in the night visions, and behold, one like the son of man was coming with the clouds of heaven, and he came to the Ancient of Days, and was presented before him. To him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom is one that shall not be destroyed." (Daniel 7:9-14).

These four beasts are the same four pagan kingdoms previously mentioned, and at the demise of the last one, the divine kingdom will be established. The king said to Daniel: "The dominion and the glory and the kingdom were given to him, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom is one that shall not be destroyed."
