This refers to the seventh kingdom, the Roman Empire, which will be divided before the coming of the divine kingdom. Daniel said: "And in the days of these kingdoms the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever." (Daniel 2:44). And this indeed happened; in the year 395 AD, the Roman Empire was divided into an Eastern Kingdom with its capital in Constantinople, known as the Byzantine Empire, and a Western Kingdom which took as its capitals Rome and Mediolanum (Milan) and Ravenna.
And after these four kingdoms, that is, after the divided seventh kingdom, the Roman Empire, a divine kingdom will arise, which will bear the banner of destroying the pagan kingdoms by destroying the seventh kingdom, which inherited from the preceding kingdoms the banner of spreading and defending paganism. This divine kingdom is the stone that was cut from the mountain without hands, and it struck the feet of the statue, causing the entire statue to collapse. Daniel said: "You watched till a stone was cut out without hands, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces." (Daniel 2:34).
And this divine kingdom will rule forever, until the Hour. Daniel said: "And in the days of these kingdoms the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. For as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great God has made known to the king what shall be after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure." (Daniel 2:44).
