The descent of Jesus, peace be upon him.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, has informed us through his hadiths in the chapter on the descent of Jesus, peace be upon him, that it will occur, by the will of Allah Almighty, in the year 1447 AH, corresponding to the year 2026 AD. Below, we will mention what supports the authenticity of this date through numerical miracles in the Book of Allah Almighty.

Allah Almighty said in Surat Al-Imran: "And [mention] when Allah said, 'O Jesus, indeed I will make you die and raise you to Myself and purify you of those who have disbelieved and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me will be your return, and I will judge between you concerning that over which you used to differ." (3:55) "As for those who disbelieved, I will punish them with a severe punishment in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers." (3:56) "But as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them their rewards in full. And Allah does not like the wrongdoers." (3:57) From these verses, we can infer several matters, including: 1. The Jews and their allies plotted against Jesus, peace be upon him, to kill him.

2. Allah Almighty informed His Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him, of certain matters, which are: a. His death and raising to Allah; and his purification from those who disbelieved. This news has come true. b. Making those who followed him, peace be upon him, above those who disbelieved in him. This superiority has two meanings: ▪ Superiority in status and dominance by proof. This news, in this sense, has also come true. ▪ Superiority of conquest and dominance by the sword. This news, in this sense, has not yet come true. It will come true, by the will of Allah Almighty, at the time of his descent, peace be upon him, at the end of time. This is why Allah Almighty said after mentioning this superiority: "Then to Me will be your return, and I will judge between you concerning that over which you used to differ." This is an indication of the postponement of this.
