The departure of the Antichrist, may God Almighty decree, will be in the year 1447 AH, corresponding to the year 2026 AD. This is confirmed by the convergence that Abu Dawud's hadith indicated between the appearance of the Mahdi, the conquest of Constantinople, and the departure of the Antichrist, may God decree. Muslim narrated in his Sahih, from Abu Hurayrah, may God be pleased with him, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "The Hour will not be established until the Romans descend at Al-A'maq or Dabiq. Then an army from Medina will come out to them, the best of the people of the earth at that time. When they arrange themselves in rows, the Romans will say: 'Leave us to fight those who were taken captive from among us.' The Muslims will say: 'No, by God, we will not leave our brothers to you.' Then they will fight, and one-third of the army will be defeated. He said: 'I do not think they will be defeated.' And one-third of them will be martyred. He said: 'We will not be defeated after this.' And one-third of them will be victorious, and they will not be afflicted by sedition after that." And with his departure, Jesus, peace be upon him, will descend. This means that his descent, peace be upon him, will be in the same year as the departure of the Antichrist, may God decree, i.e., the year 1447 AH, corresponding to the year 2026 AD. This sequence between the departure of the Antichrist, may God decree, and the descent of Jesus, peace be upon him, is supported by what Muslim narrated in his Sahih from Abu Hurayrah, may God be pleased with him, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "When they (meaning the Muslims after the conquest of Constantinople) arrange themselves in rows, the Antichrist will come out, and the Romans will say: 'The Hour has come.' Then Jesus, son of Mary, peace be upon him, will descend, and he will lead them. If he sees him (the Antichrist), he will melt him as salt melts in water. Then Jesus will kill him, and a group of believers will kill him, and they will conquer Rome." Al-Hakim narrated in his Mustadrak, from Hudhayfah ibn Al-Yaman, may God be pleased with him, that he said: "The Hour will not be established until ten signs appear before it: the smoke, the Dajjal, the beast, the sun rising from the west, the descent of Jesus son of Mary, the appearance of Gog and Magog, and three landslides, one in the east, one in the west, and one in the Arabian Peninsula. The last of these is a fire that comes out from Yemen and drives people to the place of their final gathering."
