This is the third great sedition, the sedition of Al-Dhahma'a. May Allah Almighty know best why it was named this way, for three reasons: 1. Al-Dhahma'a from Al-Madham, which means suddenness, i.e., the occurrence of an event unexpectedly without prior warning.
2. Al-Dhahma'a from the diminutive of Al-Mudham'a, which refers to the common people.
3. Al-Dhahma'a from Adham, which means black and dark.
All these meanings apply to the sedition of our time. A sedition has arisen in our lands that has overwhelmed the people and surprised them suddenly without prior warning. In one year, this led to the fall of a number of rulers from the era of tyrannical kings. At the same time, the fuel for this sedition was the ignorance and commonness of the people, which made it a black, dark sedition in which people chase after tempting, false ideas, demands, and slogans that contradict the methodology of Allah Almighty. They demanded bestial, democratic, and ethnic governance that deifies humans instead of Allah Almighty, and a citizenship with ignorant tribalism that is based on loyalty and disavowal not for the sake of Allah Almighty.
The most prominent stage of this sedition is the stage of Al-Sham, as it is the stage that will end, by the will of Allah Almighty, with the appearance of the Mahdi, may Allah be pleased with him. This stage began in the year 1432 AH, corresponding to the year 2011 AD. This means that the appearance of the Mahdi, corresponding to the year 1441 AH, as previously explained, will be, by the will of Allah Almighty, nine years after the start of the Al-Sham stage. The reason for our linking the Al-Sham stage with the appearance of the Mahdi is the following hadith: Click here to return to the index Page 26 The Clarification of the Timings of the Events of the End Times
